Gen 7 Competitive Pokedex App Reviews

This app is awesome!!! Some of the type effectivenesses are off, like the Bulbasaur family being damaged .25x by Bug when theyre actually 1x. And for dual-type Pokémon, you put the second type first, but its consistent with that, so it doesnt bother me.

But the icon of the mega of hoenn are not correct

I LOVE this app, and use it at least twice a day. But... What the heck is up with the bug-type match-ups? Youve got grass types resisting it, and ice types weak to it. Fix it please. Other than that its fantastic, keep it up.

So I got this App and a handful of other Pokédex Apps. I heard good thing and the description had the one thing that made me anticipate using it: STAB moves for all Pokemon. No longer would I have to go to Bulbapedia to figure out certain moves. Maybe its there but I cant figure it out. If this app could correct just 2 of the apps cons Id give it a 5 (at the very least a 4 borderline a 5 depending on which cons). Pros: - Tons of accurate Info - Tons of art - One of the best Dex apps out there Cons: - States STAB moves but couldnt find them at all no matter what I did. - Ugly UI compared to other competitors. - No way to tell how certain Pokemon Mega-Evolve (lack of info such as stones and where to get stones).

G̥ͦo̥ͦo̥ͦd̥ͦ The information on Pokemon is amazing, and thank goodness there is finally an app to search for Pokemon with certain moves, abilities, types, and stats and having the ability to sort your search greatest to least individually by a stat (HP, Atk, SpA, Spd...) I̥ͦm̥ͦp̥ͦr̥ͦo̥ͦv̥ͦe̥ͦm̥ͦe̥ͦn̥ͦt̥ͦs̥ͦ An update isnt extremely mandatory but it would be nice if the search engine could be more like the one on the νєєкυn website. By that I mean I think the search (on the app) should be more thorough with its questions and selections for a larger interface to help the user find what they are actually looking for/from a Pokémon. Anyways, the fact that there is a search like this on a mobile app is f̤̮a̤̮n̤̮t̤̮a̤̮s̤̮t̤̮i̤̮c̤̮ overall, but I want M̶ꂦꋪꋪꋪꋪꋪꍟ.

This app is already solid and helpful, but it is missing a few things to make it really stand out and top its competitors. 1) When looking through a Pokemons abilities and move lists, I cant tap on a move or ability and be taken to its specific page- I have to search it. 2a) Its nice to be able to give Megas a separate page, but they should really just be a sub-section of its base (a la serebii) since they dont have their own level-ups. 2b) If the Megas keep their own page, I should be able to search "Mega" and have a list of all the available Megas (which doesnt happen.) 2c) ORAS has been out long enough that the Mega icons should be in the app by now. The [advanced] search function doesnt say the Pokemons name so it is hard to tell if the Pokemon is the base or Mega (if its an ORAS Mega.) 3) All of the Pokemons evolutionary line should be viewable in the "Evolutions" section (including Megas.) It should also show how to do each evolution and can take you to the pages of any of the Pokemon. (Alternate Formes could go here too.) 4) Have a section on where to find each Pokemon in the games that theyre in. 5) Fix the issues with type effectiveness (the whole Bug->Grass relationship seems to be messed up) and the Egg Moves situation. Sometimes Pokemon show up twice in the Egg Move section as well as Megas being there when they cant breed and dont have their own level-ups. Other than what I mentioned, the app is stellar. It is definitely usable the way it is, but it has the potential to be way better.

I competitively battle and breed Pokemon and this app has been nothing but useful to me when im working on a new team. Moves levels, charts and search make this app a joy to use. Highly recommend.

Im in love with this dex and use it pretty regularly :) my only wish would be that it had a team builder...

I think this app is amazing. I use it to put a bunch of competitive teams together. When Im on the road and have no way of connecting to the Internet, I use this app to get all the Pokemon info I need. However, Ive noticed that the type chart for some Pokemon is a bit off. For example, I was looking at Cryogonals info and noticed that under Bug it says 2x and under Rock it says 1x. When in fact, the reverse is what would be true. Of course its a minor oversight, but I just hope that, besides the type chart, everything is correct. Especially each Pokemons stats.

I live this app. I have another pokédex that is not as updated as this and this one has NO LOADING TIME! I love that! This app is super good if you are looking to train your Pokémon and plan moved as well as measure their EVs.
